Why Blogger is a Great Platform

I have been blogging for over two years, and of all of the blogging platforms I have tried, Blogger has definitely been the best one.

It is extremely user friendly, and has everything that I need for my blog. I can easily change the layout, theme etc with just a few clicks, and for a free blogging platform, it really delivers!

My blog is about Japanese cars, so since it is a niche site, I thought I’d try out putting ads on my blog. So, I set up Google Adsense and to my surprise, I actually made quite a bit of money!

I think because my niche is quite specific, and my posts are full of keywords, the ads that were matched to my blog are extremely relevant, so people are more inclined to click on them!

Also, because Blogger is owned by Google, my posts rank pretty high! I track my search engine traffic daily with Google Analytics and it shows that a lot of my visitors come from search engines – which is great!

I try to post something every 2-3 days, I did initially try posting every day, but it was a bit too much! I focus mainly on any new automotive news, new updates, new concepts or models.

I try to keep my focus mainly on Japanese cars, but if there is any big news with the European car companies, I will report on it as well.

Blogger is a really good blogging platform. I can add pictures and hyperlinks to my posts very easily. I can also change the theme, which is great. I like to change the background to something that is relevant to my most recent article.

I think that if you choose to have a blog – especially an informative one, it is really really important that it is on a subject or topic that you like.

I started my blog as a hobby, and now I’m able to get some money from ads, which is great! Blogger has been a great tool, it’s perfect for my blogging needs and has enabled me to make some money from my blog! More importantly, it’s easy to use and it’s free.
