Great Website Building Tools

These are some optional website building tools you may need,depends on what type of features you want in your site. These features are not mandatory at all, so you can avoid them. But I suggest you not to add these options if it is not in your best interest.

I do not have any of these website building tools on my website. It's simply because there will be too many unnecessary stuffs on my website. I personally believe in simplicity and cleanness. But some people like to have some extra features on their site and that's up to their personal choice.

Tell a friend Script...

Again...don't add this feature if it's not necessary. Tell a friend scrips is tool that allows you to send your friends an invitation for a website you visited and found it interesting. The same way it does for social networking website such as Hi5, Facebook and MySpace.

Well it's not exactly like that but quiet similar. Some people use it for marketing purposes and can be a good tool for some webmasters. Read more on Tell a Friend Scripts

Guestbook Scripts

Like the blog...you can add a feature on your website for your visitors to comment. It's actually a good features in a way to communicate with your visitors and also knowing what do they want to hear from you. It is one of the good website building tools to consider.

But again,don't use it if it's not necessary. I must agree that it is beneficial and one of the great means of communicating with your visitors.

Traffic Hit counter

It shows your traffic data to your visitors. There are many programs that allows you to add this feature on your site. In a way, it's a good feature to show your visitors if you a lot of traffic but don't use it if your site is new.

Having a Forum...

Don't create a forum if your site is new. Wait until it reaches at least 2-3 thousands visitors a day. The reason is simple, you don't want a forum to look empty with no comments.

A forum is very beneficial tool to keep your visitors active in your website. It helps you to make a community with your visitors. A forum might be an useful tool for your site to build a relationship with your visitors.

Chat room

That's a lot after. This is something not for every website. A simple information website like mine cannot use such features. This feature can be helpful to keep your visitors engaged. You need a website that provides some sort of solutions.

A chat room is somehow complicated to do so. So you need to know some programming for it. Chat room is not always necessary for your website.
