I started my website, themacademy.com, on Mac computer tips. It all started because I love Apple's products - the MacBook, iPod, iPhone - they are all so user friendly, so efficient and such solid pieces of technology.

There are a lot of sites out there that offer Mac users various different tips and tricks, but I found that most of them are only catered to very advanced users.

When I launched my site, themacademy.com, I asked members of my family and my friends what sort of information they would like me to provide to them, and with each article, they have given me feedback on what they feel would be a good follow-up article and they also let me know if they think I've missed anything out! It’s very useful as everyone has different needs, and it’s great to be able to find out exactly what people are looking for.

The whole point of my site is to keep users informed of any new products and different tips and tricks that will be useful for people who own any Apple products. I also plan on creating video tutorials for my audience as this is often easier than reading pages and pages of text. Since my site is less than one month old, there is still a lot of work to do.

The plan for my site is to make it a one-stop-shop for Mac users. I want someone who got a MacBook yesterday or someone who has had one for years to be able to feel that they can come to the site and find something that will be useful and will fit their individual needs.

It will be difficult and will require a lot of work on my part, but I feel that it definitely has the potential to be a very successful website.
