They won't search the terms "online store" or "music equipment" on search engines but they will search by "buy cheap guitar", "cheapest guitar price" and etc.

It's true that your market is narrow but traffic rate and monetization possibility will be much greater.

Those keywords are less competitive than "online store", so the chances for you to rank higher for those words in search engines will be much faster and easier.

Your target market should be as narrow as possible and what can be better than them finding you using free traffic method. And more importantly you need to write some quality content about your product.

Don't just give a 2 line lame product description like usual sales pitch. But write some good reviews, give some useful tips, write some content regarding what can be done with it.

It's your content which will build your traffic. Of course you need to build some links and do some marketing but when the visitors will come to your website, they will already be presold by your content.

And then it left just to monetize, which can easily be done afterward. The art of being successful is to keep things real.

Don't panic if your business is not making much for a year. It takes time for your human visitors to find you online through search engines.

Don't panic, keep building contents. Don't carry too many inventories in the beginning as it takes time to build any business.

But your market can easily reach you. Because since you pay so much to build the online store, EBay gives you more priority.

But even though, your product sells better when you write a good description on it and post some pictures.

You can also create a website that describes your product that then directly links to your EBay page and can also do vice-versa. EBay in my opinion is the best one to consider.

There are also other ones you can use such as Cafepress or SBI . Both of them are extremely good. SBI is always good since it has a lot of tools for you reach your audience. It automatically submits your site to search engines and your site usually have a better ranking in search engines.

But always remember that the whole game is about C->T->P->M and build a niche store instead of building an online store.
