Blogger Tips for Beginners!

I chose Blogger to start my website because I didn't know ANYTHING about computer programming, HTML, etc.

I remember when I got a MySpace page, it took me over 3 hours to figure out how to use HTML to change the background color! With Blogger, I didn't have ANY kind of problems.

I heard about blogger through a friend who used it to update her friends and family when she was traveling.

My blog is just a personal blog, but after being a Blogger user for quite a while now, I can see how it would be a great tool to improve your online presence – if you want to be a niche writer or something.

I think my first piece of advice would be to not be scared! It's so very easy to use and trust me, if I think it's easy to use, then it is! My blog was up and running in no time at all!

Since I started my personal blog, I thought it would be fun to set up an “everything” blog and decided to write about some current events, a few recipes, beauty & skincare tips.

I think the main thing to remember if you’re trying to set up a site that is intended for a wide audience – unlike a personal blog, you have to post, post, post. New content is key.

People aren’t going to come back just to read the same post 70 times. You need new content to keep visitors coming back and also to bring new ones in!

I try to update my site every day – this is sometimes very difficult, as there might not be time or I might not be able to think of good content, but I aim for 1 post per day.

Regardless of what platform or hosting company you choose to go with, you must have new content. And along with new content, you must have good keywords so that people can find your site!
